FALL COMMUNITY BUILDING GATHERINGS
Join us this fall on the 4th Sunday afternoon each month from 4:00 - 5:30 PM as we gather on the lawn or indoors to enjoy the fall evenings and also get to know each other better. The purpose of these community building gatherings is to combat isolation and loneliness in our neighborhoods and communities by replacing these with friendship and community.
Each Sunday afternoon, a different community-building activity is planned. Check the schedule to the right and invite a neighbor, co-worker, or friend to join you. Bring a neighbor. Meet a neighbor.
If we encounter inclement weather, don't worry. We will move inside. So, come and enjoy some fall fun.
Halloween Scavenger Hunt
For our second Fall Fun on the Lawn gathering, join us on Saturday, October 31, for a “Trick or Treat” scavenger hunt and hospitality station.
From 6- 8 p.m., trick-or-treaters are invited to participate in a scavenger hunt throughout the neighborhood. Grab a scavenger hunt card at the hospitality station. Then try to get as many stamps as you can from participating houses throughout the neighborhood. Return to the hospitality station with your card to receive prizes based on how many stamps you received. The more stamps the bigger the prize ;)
The scavenger hunt and hospitality station, like all the neighborhood community-building gatherings, are open to everyone. Bring a neighbor. Meet a neighbor.
