BE OUR GUEST THIS SUNDAY!
“Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker” (Psalm 95:6)
We believe humans are always worshiping– the question of worship is not if or when we’re worshiping, but what or whom. God graciously calls people back to the worship of Himself through Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit.
At Covenant, we find it helpful to think of our worship gatherings as a relational conversation between God and His people– all are welcome, all the time. God speaks. We respond.
This conversation follows the beautiful pattern of the Gospel– starting with God’s glory, confessing the gravity of human sin, celebrating the grandeur of God’s grace, and responding to God sending us into the world. (Isaiah 6)
What a powerful, life changing event– to regularly gather together, to both remind others and be reminded of God’s work in the past, present, and future.
And to hear God’s invitation to join in, for the sake of the world– the Good News that saves, also sends!
We believe that worship should be God-honoring, Word-centered and faith-forming. Our goal is that each worshiper would encounter God and grow in their devotion to Him each week.
Covenant is a musically rich congregation, led in worship by organists, pianists, praise teams, brass, and choirs. We worship in a variety of musical styles, from classical music to hymnody to contemporary music.
This musical diversity is a strength of our church's culture, welcoming people to worship as one body but in a multitude of ways.
